Zwei Jahre später erhielte das Zentrum die Zertifizierung durch die Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft und die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Senologie.<br /> Das diakonische Zentrum ist somit ein qualifiziertes Brustzentrum, welches sich auf Brustkrebsdiagnosen spezialisiert. Jährlich werden um die 5000 Patienten behandelt und individuell betreut.<br /> <br /> Das Brustzentrum möchte mit einer Vielzahl von Experten unterschiedlicher Fachrichtungen die bestmögliche Behandlung bieten. Entsprechend des Krankheitsfalls werden den Patienten alternativ zu Standardtherapien auch passende Studien angeboten.
